Beautiful spacious room with a river view. Well equipped with free water (a bonus, many hotels charge you). Large, comfortable bed with nice linens. We had buffet breakfast both mornings which was excellent. Staff at the reception were efficient but not overly warm. Our main issue was that on the day we left when we had time to kill before heading to the airport, the bar was closed. So no lunch and no drinks? This is not acceptable for a what claims to be a 5 star hotel, therefore marked down a star.

Hotel is lovely. Situated in the perfect spot, with great river views. Service is ok, but not great. Depended on who you talk to at front desk as to how much help you get. Yesterday spoke to concierge staff member to organise a cab to airport on Wednesday and were told we will get a taxi out front, just walk out front. This morning new concierge staff member organised cab for us to get to Fremantle today. Much better service from the staff member this morning, Tuesday 14 May. And he just rang to say cab is ready downstairs.

Amazing hotel from the moment we arrived. Greeted by concierge who opened doors and greeted us daily. Reception staff were very helpful and always answered or helped us with any queries. Cleaning staff were wonderful especially the lady who's family were originally from England. Had food from the bar which was excellent quality. Room was perfect and very comfy bed. Pool and sauna facilities were good. The manager was wonderful always had time to check we were okay and had time for a chat. 100% recommend this hotel. We stayed for 7 nights. Have nothing at all to complain about.

I went on a business trip to Perth (April 2024) and staying at the Duxton Hotel, Perth, for one week was one of my best experiences. Location: very strategic and perfect. Walking to the City is only a few minutes. If you want to take the CAT (Central Area Transit), just walk to the front of the hotel. Walking to the back of the Hotel I enjoyed a fresh morning walk along the Swan River Room: modern, clean and comfortable Food : great Special appreciation to Mr. Deddy Suryana, Director of Rooms: Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality. I will definitely recommend to family/friends who are going on a trip to Perth to stay here.

A beautiful hotel. Very luxurious. While staying we dined in and I had the penne primavera and that was not far from tasty at all. It tasted like a microwaved meal and over cooked. However my partner had the steak and we shared a cheesy garlic bread which were deliciously cooked. He had a mojito and I had a strawberry daiquiri which was fantastic. Best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. The hospitality was fantastic, a young woman named Rhea served us and she was lovely. The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable the pillows very comfortable and fig and figoea soap was great. We ordered a tart via room service around 11:30pm and it was delicious however the man that delivered it was quite rude and abrupt with me signing it off.
